A few years ago rumors ran rampant that an animated Golden Axe comedy series was coming to Comedy Central. News broke this week that the series is finally coming to Paramount+ next month. This is pretty exciting news for Sega fans, but it has me a bit leary as well. It debuts on Sept 16th and will have 10 episodes.

Was cruising the Facebook marketplace as I often do when to my surprise I found this incredible Mario Gameboy shirt from 1991! I have never seen this before or if it did it has since left my memory. Sadly he wanted 75 bucks for it and it would fit an 8 year old so I’m out. But I Def need someone to recreate this on a modern shirt. If you do, send me one. Because these are the only images online of this item.
Was cruising the ol’ Twitter and came across this sweet post by @mizucatofficial showing off these rad Gameboy shells they’re working on. They got that old trapper keeper vibe but also reminiscent of the old NES controller skins that came in Nintendo Power back in the day. Really cool stuff. I’ll be following this project as my Gameboy looks war torn.
Mega Man is an undeniable classic series. I’ve been a fan since I got the original game as a kid. It’s quite a challenge but was always a ton of fun to me, I can still run through it fairly quickly too. In the past I’ve seen Turbografx ports and while a bit jenky they were serviceable. I’m hoping this SNES port does the game some more justice.

I’ve dusted off this ol’ girl of a website. I’ve lost all the files and stuff and things, so we’re starting fresh. Cool. Now you’re wondering what is this site all about? It’s about video games. Retrogaming isn’t much of the rage as it was when I first launched this site a decade ago. But people are still having fun with it. I’ll reporting on all things video games and retro/classic related. I’ll also be diving in and spotlighting different things in my collection. I’ve missed talking about video games, and with the current status and cesspool of social media I figure this is the best way to discuss my favorite hobby. So I hope you like the site.
